Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and Richard Povýšil ("we"), when you use Blipp. By installing or buying Blipp you accept them.
What Blipp is
Blipp is a macOS app that rewrites, translates and turns copied text into QR codes from your Mac's notch. It requires a Mac with Apple silicon; Intel Macs are not supported. The built-in on-device AI is Apple Intelligence and needs macOS 26. On macOS 14 to 15 the app installs and runs, but the AI actions require your own OpenAI or Claude API key, billed to you by that provider.
Your licence
Buying Blipp gives you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the app on Macs you own or control, for as long as it keeps working. The licence is not transferable and not a sale of the software itself. You may not resell it, rent it, or try to work around the checks that decide which plan you are on.
The free plan gives you a limited number of AI actions per day. The Early Access Lifetime plan is a one-time payment with no subscription and no renewal.
Price and payment
Prices are shown in euro on the pricing page and include VAT where it applies. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see your card details. Early Access pricing is limited and the regular price will be higher later, which does not affect a licence you already bought.
Refunds and your right to withdraw
If you are a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. Because Blipp is digital content delivered immediately, you agree at checkout that we start delivering right away, and you accept that you lose the right to withdraw once delivery has started.
That is the law, not our policy. Our policy is simpler: if Blipp is not for you, email us within 14 days and we will refund you. Write to hello@meetblipp.com.
What we promise, and what we don't
We will make a reasonable effort to keep Blipp working and to fix problems. We cannot promise it is free of bugs, that it will run on every setup, or that AI output is correct. AI-generated text can be wrong or misleading, so read it before you send it. You stay responsible for what you write and send.
We are liable for damage we cause intentionally or by gross negligence, and for anything the law does not let us exclude. Otherwise our total liability is limited to what you paid us. Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
If things end
You can stop using Blipp at any time and delete your account. We may end your licence without a refund if you seriously break these terms, for example by cracking the app or abusing giveaway keys. If we ever discontinue Blipp, the version you have keeps working; we cannot promise updates forever.
Changes
We may update these terms when the product or the law changes. If a change materially affects you, we will say so on this page and, where it matters, by email. Continuing to use Blipp after that means you accept the new version.
Law and disputes
Slovak law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in. Before going to court, try us at hello@meetblipp.com; details of the supervisory authority and the EU dispute platform are on the imprint page.
